Evidences
Mango Tree

Hello teacher!

These are the evidences that you should take into account when evaluating if your students have achieved the objectives proposed for this cycle. They will help you make a detailed observation of your students as a group and complete the rubric to determine if they are ready for the next cycle.

First objective: Consolidate bond with Vivadí’s class routine.

Evidences

  • Students can recognize expressions and sentences related to the different moments.
Students get ready autonomously for the moments planned for the class, such as the starting and ending songs, storytelling, move your hips, brain breaks, and games.
Students can predict words and sentences related to the English class routines.
Students take advantage of the activities in English to learn with each other.

Second objective: Give meaning to the class' contents.

Evidences

  • Students can infer the meaning of a spoken word when the teacher uses hand gestures, facial expressions and body movements as a strategy.

  • Students take advantage of illustrations, gestures, and cues to interpret the meaning in stories, songs, and videos.

  • Students use basic grammatical structures in short conversations and discussions.

Third objective: Feel confident to use English during Vivadi´s class.

Evidences

  • Students demonstrate trust in the group to begin experimenting in the language.

  • Students try to answer the teacher's questions during the narratives.

  • Students take risks using the learned language by observing not only the teacher but also other classmates.
